EcoPure Charcoal started in 2023. It has been my concern about the rise of cancer cases all over the world. As a registered nurse, l was thinking about what to do in my own capacity to reduce the number of cancer cases. First of all, in the food industry, barbecue charcoal came to my mind.

I started researching the charcoal content and usage. Then I visited a steakhouse for dinner and the steak smelled like charcoal with chemicals in it. From this moment, l started thinking about how l can make a difference through making a pure, chemical free charcoal.

Secondly, it happened that l lost my husband in 2022. He died as a Medical doctor, so I thought about producing charcoal that never dies, burns longer and hotter, and reduces the health risk of cancer.

This was when I thought about the Phoenix bird. Phoenix bird is a legendary bird that symbolizes rebirth and immortality. The Phoenix bird cyclically regenerates or is otherwise born again. EcoPure Charcoal is sourced from farms in East and West Africa, generated from pure HardWoods. which is odorless and pure without any chemicals added.
